دکتر علیرضا رشیدی در حال حاضر عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه آزاد بوده و استادیار مهندسی صنایع در دانشگاه‌های آزاد تهران جنوب و فیروزکوه است. حوزه‌های پژوهشی مورد علاقه وی مباحث مربوط به OR یا تحقیق در عملیات است. وی در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد مدیریت صنعتی و مهندسی صنایع نیز به تدریس دروس مختلفی همچون تحقیق در عملیات پیشرفته، برنامه‌ریزی غیرخطی، و غیره مشغول است.
